General Questions

What are the fees for HealthE1 Mobile Medical blood draw services?

HealthE1 Mobile Medical provides in-home or office blood draws and delivers your samples to the lab as per your insurance or physician’s instructions. Our service fees start at $99.

The fees for testing your samples are billed separately by your chosen laboratory (LabCorp or Quest Diagnostics). Please reach out to your lab or insurance company for information on testing costs.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards. Additionally, Zelle, Venmo, and checks are accepted in most cases.

What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments rescheduled or cancelled 24 hours prior to the original appointment time will receive a full refund. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled less than 24 hours from the original appointment time are non-refundable.

Are late evening or weekend appointments available?

Our scheduling primarily corresponds with the operating hours of LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics, where our specimens are delivered. These locations typically operate from 7 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday. Consequently, we generally do not offer sample draws during late afternoons or weekends. However, we can accommodate special circumstances with advance notice on a case-by-case basis.

How can I obtain my test results?

Test results will be directly provided to either your ordering physician or you as the patient by the testing lab, such as LabCorp or Quest Diagnostics. HealthE1 Mobile Medical does not have access to your results. Typically, these results are available within 3-5 days.

What if I don’t have a lab order?

Laboratories mandate that specimens be submitted with an order. The simplest method to acquire your order is by contacting your ordering physician’s office and requesting them to send it to you. Subsequently, you can forward it to us via email, text. While we can contact your physician on your behalf, doctors’ offices typically respond more promptly to requests from their patients rather than an external entity. Alternatively, you can request them to directly email or text the order to us.

Our goal is to ensure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision about your health and wellness.

What is IV therapy and how does it work?

IV therapy involves administering fluids, nutrients, and medications directly into the bloodstream via a vein, allowing for immediate absorption and effectiveness. This method bypasses the digestive system, ensuring maximum bioavailability of the ingredients.

What are the benefits of IV therapy compared to oral supplements?

IV therapy provides nutrients directly to your cells without the delay of digestive processing, resulting in faster and more efficient absorption. This method is especially beneficial for those with digestive issues or for rapid relief from dehydration, nutrient deficiencies, and more.

What types of IV therapies do you offer?

HealthE1 Medical offers a variety of IV therapies including hydration, detoxification, immune support, and energy boosts. Each treatment is tailored to meet the specific health needs and goals of our patients.

How long does an IV therapy session last?

An IV therapy session typically lasts between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the type of therapy being administered and the individual’s specific treatment plan.

Is mobile IV therapy safe?

Mobile IV therapy is very safe when performed by qualified healthcare professionals. HealthE1 Medical ensures all protocols are meticulously followed to maintain safety and efficacy, providing peace of mind.

What qualifications do the healthcare professionals who administer the IV have?

How do you ensure the sterility and safety of the IV therapy?

Sterility and safety during IV therapy are paramount. HealthE1 Medical uses sterile equipment and practices, including single-use IV kits and thorough sanitization of the injection site to prevent infection.

Can IV therapy be customized to my specific health needs?

Yes, IV therapy can be highly customized. Ingredients such as vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and medications are selected based on individual health assessments and specific therapeutic goals.

Are there any side effects or risks associated with IV therapy?

While generally safe, IV therapy can have potential side effects like discomfort at the injection site, bruising, and, rarely, allergic reactions. HealthE1 Medical’s skilled team carefully monitors all sessions to manage and minimize any risks.

How often can I receive IV therapy?

The frequency of IV therapy depends on your personal health needs and goals. Some may benefit from weekly sessions, while others might only need them monthly or even less frequently.

What should I expect during my first IV therapy session?

During your first session, a healthcare professional will review your medical history and discuss your health goals. You’ll then relax in a comfortable setting while the IV drip is administered, which is a generally painless process.

How much does mobile IV therapy cost and is it covered by insurance?

The cost of mobile IV therapy varies based on the type of infusion and the number of sessions. It is typically not covered by insurance, as it is often considered elective or wellness-based care.
